Three athletes played five sports

Three alumni who played five sports will be inducted in to the Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 24, during Fall Weekend. They are:

Susan Mabrey Gaud '68 P'07 of Evanston, Ill. She majored in chemistry and played tennis, field hockey, basketball and lacrosse.

Kim Holliday McElderry '97 of Stamford, Conn. She majored in psychology-based human relations and played field hockey.

Sarah Pitt '86 of Cos Cob, Conn. She majored in economics and was a swimmer.

The three will be honored during a ceremony in the Hall of Fame Room at the Charles B. Luce Fieldhouse the evening of the 24th, with a public unveiling of their names.

The ceremony will be followed by a dinner for the inductees. Contact the Department of Athletics at 860-439-2541 for tickets.

The Athletic Hall of Fame, created in 1989, honors those who have brought distinction to themselves and the College through their achievement, commitment, sportsmanship and leadership in athletics.
