Alumni whose class years end in 1 and 6 have much to look forward to in 2011. They’ll not only celebrate the College’s centennial – they’ll celebrate their Reunion as well.

On Feb. 26 and 27, about 50 alumni returned to campus for the annual Insights weekend, a program designed for Reunion planning committees so that they get the tools they need to put together an unforgettable Reunion.

The weekend kicked off Friday evening when volunteers joined President Higdon, Connecticut College Trustees, and Alumni Association board members for a reception and dinner in the 1962 Room. The next day, each class worked alongside staff from the office of College advancement to start on plans for their Reunion.

Many alumni remarked that being back on campus and seeing old friends really made them excited about Reunion including Scott Hafner ’80, a trustee who was encouraged by the turnout. “It was a motivating and inspiring weekend for all,” he said.

Alumni whose class years end in 0 and 5 will celebrate their Reunion June 4-6, 2010. For more information, visit http://reunion.conncoll.edu.
